What Lumora provides
We provide a symbolic star-naming service. Named stars may be mapped to real stars in the HYG astronomical catalog (for Luminary, Eternal, Twin, and Constellation packages) or may be purely symbolic (Stardust). We maintain a public registry for Registry-tier purchases.
What we don’t claim
No star name recorded in our system is recognized by the International Astronomical Union (IAU), the only body with authority to officially name stars. We never claim otherwise. Our service is a symbolic and emotional gift product.
Your content
You retain ownership of any photos or messages you upload. By uploading, you grant us a license to display them within your star’s keepsake page and certificate.
Limitation of liability
Lumora is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your order.
